Each year Edelman Sydney donates a significant proportion of our time to support local community and NGO organisations. Examples of this work include our support of the Red Cross, The Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation, the Kidney Foundation, NSW Carers Week and the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation. In addition to this sort of cause-related work we have also offered dedicated pro bono teams for specific initiatives. In March 2002, we facilitated the media relations surrounding a visit by members of the New York Fire Department and New York Police Department who were involved in the recovery efforts at Ground Zero, to Australia.
