Global Chair, Business + Social Purpose
For nearly 20 years — 13 of which have been with Edelman — Bob has served in senior leadership positions for global communications firms honing his expertise in reputation and issues management, organizational positioning, public affairs and corporate social responsibility. The founding global chair of Business + Social Purpose, he has developed and executed some of the most celebrated CSR-centered communications campaigns in recent memory including the global launch of GE’s ecomagination, as well as repositioning DuPont, Monsanto and Waste Management based on their individual efforts to address pressing social needs.
Prior to re-joining Edelman, Bob was a senior managing director and leader of the corporate communications practice in the Americas for FTI Consulting, managing tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue and a team of more than 75 professionals. He was also an executive vice president and senior managing director at MWW.
Bob is currently a trustee of Wheeling Jesuit University and a board member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He was formerly a board member of the Audubon Society, Maryland/Washington, D.C.
