Twitter Announces New Community Safety Measures

Twitter released more features to combat abuse, with a new range of measures to make the platform a safer place. One notable update is the expansion of filtering options, giving users more ways to manage what types of content and notification they see on the platform. Twitter also will begin to detect and restrict users who have engaged in abusive behavior, even if that behavior has not been reported.

Advertisers React to Snapchat’s IPO

Snap Inc, the owner of the ephemeral messaging app popular with millennials, will likely face more demands from advertisers for reliable metrics now that the company has gone public. Snap, like many other platform, does not have its ad metrics audited by a third-party, which could help woo media buyers and advertisers and consequently boost revenue for the Snapchat owner.
