Since I was unable to be around at 10 a.m., let me ask you here about what has been reported in blogs today as an Edelman intiative to establish top 100 blog charts in each territory. Isn't that a hierarchical approach to what is actually a nodal phenomenon? Is the Technorati linking system the best measure of true influence? What is the intention?

JC check out my post on Edelman.com. I make a case that this is simply our first cut at researching the blogosphere and that we understand micro niche concept.

Hello Richard,
I am a PhD student in corporate crisis public relations at the University of Florida. I am interested in building a corporate crisis management measurement for my disseration and would love to know where you see the most need currently. My interest is in applied research as I am also a practitioner and require my research to actually be helpful to others. Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
