It has been a month since my father died. I wanted to give you a bit of the back story on the months leading up to his passing and express my appreciation for the outpouring of support for my family in the wake of his death. Last week I had the opportunity to discuss one of the most important issues of our time, global hunger, with UN World Food Programme (WFP) executive director Ertharin Cousin. Most notably, the members departed the snowy village with a greater sense of confidence than the prior four years.
