NEW YORK – Edelman has named Ashlyn Gentry Yue, Ph.D. as Head of Innovation for Trust Advisory in the U.S. Gentry Yue will advance solutions at the intersection of Edelman’s trust data, technology and advisory services, as well as serve as a senior counselor to clients.

“Trust is clearly atop the agenda for our clients’ C-suites and boards,” said Global Vice Chairman Russell Dubner. “Advances we have underway in the science of trust bring a powerful toolset to these complex dynamics and decisions. Ashlyn’s experience and skill set are uniquely well-suited to bring together top-notch trust advisory capabilities with powerful data and insights clients need today—a key part of our firm’s next chapter.”

Gentry Yue joins Edelman after co-founding Attention Capital, a media and technology investment firm. Prior, she was Senior Vice President of Commercial Growth & Business Strategy at Palantir, partnering with C-suite executives at Fortune 100 companies to develop and execute business critical tech and data transformations. Ashlyn began her agency career at Hill+Knowlton Strategies as Vice President and Senior Advisor to the Global Chairman and CEO. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and worked in local, state, and national politics before moving to the private sector.

“Edelman has been the market leader in trust for two decades,” said Gentry Yue. “We’ve pioneered the notion that trust should be a defining metric of business and a strategic driver for decisions made in every part of the business – from HR to IR, from operations to finance. The intersection of data and advisory is fast becoming a powerful market differentiator for Edelman and my mission is to extend that leadership.”

Edelman’s advisory services solutions focus on enhancing business decision making and driving outcomes, leveraging Edelman’s full suite of trust data capabilities to help clients measure and strengthen key relationships across the stakeholder ecosystem. The focus on trust advisory is the result of 20 years of data leadership around the science of trust.

Gentry Yue will be based in Edelman’s Austin office. She will report directly to Dubner, who was recently appointed Global Vice Chairman and Chair of the Edelman Trust Institute.
