Thirty-nine percent of 18- to 34-year-olds surveyed still not willing to pay for downloaded material

New research by Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm, reveals that U.S. consumers think entertainment companies provide the best value for money compared to those in the U.K. and Germany. The research also found that while only 32 percent of U.S. consumers trust the entertainment industry, younger consumers are more trusting than their older counterparts. The Edelman Trust in Entertainment survey, which explores attitudes and behaviors towards entertainment companies in the U.K., U.S. and Germany, also highlights a lack of confidence globally in the sector, with only a third of all respondents expressing trust in the industry.

Move Sees UK Digital Practice Double in Size and Affirms Edelman’s Digital Leadership

Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm, today announced it has acquired Spook Media, the leading digital agency specialising in Web Design, Web Development, Mobile Application Development, and Content Management. The move sees the Spook team, led by Marcus Dyer, work in tandem with Edelman’s Digital practice with immediate effect. As well as maintaining his role as MD of Spook, Dyer becomes Managing Director, Edelman Digital, and will work alongside Marshall Manson, Director of Digital Strategy.
