Edelman Asia-Pacific today announced a significant strengthening of its Japan senior leadership team through the appointment of a new President and Representative Director, and a Deputy Managing Director. Effective April 1, Ms Kuniko Okuwaki joins as Deputy Managing Director, Edelman Japan.

February 15, 2010Richard Sambrook, the BBC’s Director of Global News and a member of the BBC’s Management Board for the last ten years, will be joining Edelman as Global Vice Chairman and Chief Content Officer in May.
ROGER C.B. PEREIRA RETIRES FROM EDELMAN INDIA
February 09, 2010Roger C.B Pereira, CEO and M.D. of R&PM: Edelman--Edelman’s India operation--has retired from the firm, effective July 1, 2009. Since July, Pereira has been working with staff, clients and his successor, Robert Holdheim, to ensure continuity and a smooth transition. The transition is now complete.
In March, 2009, Edelman had announced Pereira’s appointment as Global Vice Chairman. Subsequently, Pereira declined to take this position. We would like to note Pereira’s contribution to the industry.
