Edelman's New York office is one of the largest in the city. With 450-plus professionals, we are one of the firm's largest offices; and as co-headquarters with Chicago, we offer unrivaled management depth.
We're a fully integrated office, bringing Edelman to life through research-based, client centered programs. Yet, while we provide a complete range of services, specialization is what sets us apart. We have particular expertise in consumer marketing, financial relations, health, corporate and public affairs, and medical education and publishing (through BioScience Communications). In the 2004 Harris Impulse Client Survey Edelman's New York office was ranked #1 in terms of Quality Reputation among communications firms by those surveyed.
We've grown at an astounding rate since our launch in the mid-1970s, working on hundreds of major deals over the years, including Viacom's merger with Paramount and Blockbuster, and scores of spin-offs and foreign listings. We've devised prize-winning programs for every major health firm. For example, our recent university campus outreach campaign for Johnson & Johnson's o.b. brand was honored with a PRSA Award of Excellence and a SABRE award for Consumer Health. Our work continues to be recognized across all our business groups, including a program for financial services provider Aquila that won the PRSA Silver Anvil and locally the Big Apple Award. In the consumer arena, the "World's Largest Hershey's Kiss" campaign received two Mercury Gold Awards and two Magellan Platinum Awards. And our client Puerto Tourism Company was the winner of the HSMAI Hospitality Awards, the Silver Bell and two Bronze Bells. Finally, our work for Georgia Pacific's Brawny paper towels received the prestigious IPRA Golden World Award.
When a company needs to connect with elected officials, prominent institutional investors or influential health experts, we've built the bridges to reach these stakeholder groups.
The City of New York selected Edelman over more than 70 other firms to manage an information campaign about Lower Manhattan (www.lowermanhattan.info). This initiative has won numerous awards including a PR Week award, two PRSA Big Apples and was nominated for an International Public Relations Association Golden World Award.
New York also is the headquarters of BioScience Communications (medical education and publishing specialists); Blue Worldwide (advertising) and StrategyOne (research). All are located in the heart of Times Square.
We look forward to working with you.
