Edelman Portland is the mastermind of Autodesk’s annual World Press Days event, where the company outlines its overall vision and product line for the year ahead. The event drew 132 reporters and analysts from 32 countries, and has resulted in more than 70 stories to date.

Edelman Portland leveraged media coverage of HOST’s (Home Ownership a Street at a Time) impressive history, proven track record and ambitious goals to help raise nearly $3 million of its $10 million fundraising goal in less than a year.

Edelman increased product placement and coverage of Columbia Sportswear among top-tier consumer lifestyle media, including “O, The Oprah Magazine”; “GQ”; “USA Today”; and the “Today” show. The result: 57 million impressions in 2007.

Edelman helped organize and generate awareness of the annual Canstruction engineering and sculpture competition, which benefits the Oregon Food Bank. Additionally, on behalf of Girls Inc., an organization that provides school-based empowerment programs for girls, Portland produced a public service announcement and video in addition to generating broad press coverage for two events.
