Edelman today announced the further strengthening of its European leadership team with the appointment of Esther Busscher as general manager, Edelman Brussels. As head of the Brussels office, Busscher will lead a multilingual and multinational team with vast sector and industry experience, executing successful programs for clients. She will report to Michael Stewart, European President & CEO.
Busscher brings over a decade of experience leading and executing pan-European strategic communications and integrated public affairs campaigns across multiple sectors and markets.

Busscher joins Edelman from FleishmanHillard, where she was senior vice president and director, Brussels. During her time there, Busscher was client relationship manager to the office’s top accounts and led the energy practice which she built from the ground up, working with clients in the natural gas industry, refineries and LPG sector. She was also responsible for rolling out their in-house design and creative capabilities. Prior to FleishmanHillard, she held multiple roles at the privately-owned Brussels government relations and public affairs group, PA Europe.
