As a member of Edelman’s Executive Leadership Team, Tristan Roy serves as Chief Digital Officer, Edelman, and Global Chief Operating Officer, Edelman Solutions, based out of Toronto.
As Chief Digital Officer, Tristan stewards a global, award-winning network of 850 professionals delivering digital and social-first strategies, stories and experiences to the world’s largest brands and organizations. In this role, he maintains direct oversight of Edelman’s digital solutions, and oversees the development of social and digital-first solutions across the entire Edelman ecosystem.
As the Global Chief Operating Officer, Edelman Solutions, Tristan activates and oversees the operating model, business value and solution delivery of nearly 2,000 Edelman employees globally, working across disciplines including data and intelligence, strategy, creative, production and digital. In this role, he partners with client leadership, finance, HR, marketing, IT, legal, resource and project management to develop financial, human and technology approaches to further professionalize and accelerate the delivery of world-class talent and solutions to Edelman clients.
Tristan is no stranger to building transformational, high-performing teams, solutions and structures. In his previous role as Global Chair, Digital and Global Chief Operating Officer, Digital, Tristan conceived and implemented a new strategy, talent transformation and operating model, building digital into the core fabric of how the agency operates and delivers for clients. Over the course of his Edelman career, Tristan has worked on clients ranging from Unilever and Walmart to Microsoft, BlackBerry, Samsung and HP.
Tristan joined Edelman in early 2006 as an intern in Washington, D.C., and was a recipient of Edelman’s “Michael K. Deaver Award”. He is a Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude graduate of Davidson College in North Carolina, where he studied English Literature.
