Can you tell us about your role at Edelman and what a typical day looks like for you? 

As a Resourcing Manager, I manage workforce planning by analyzing employee utilization and availability, as well as billability reports. I keep a close eye on data trends and oversee resource assignments to support decision-making for the business. 

A typical day involves resource planning, reviewing staff utilization, deploying talent, coordinating with our New Business team on pitch requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and staying connected with the broader network.

What skills have you developed or strengthened while working at Edelman?

Working at Edelman has strengthened my ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining focus and delivering quality outcomes on time. It has also enhanced my problem-solving, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking capabilities.

How do you feel your work makes an impact, whether on clients, colleagues, or the industry? 

My work primarily involves providing resourcing solutions to Edelman's various teams. My role is all about delivering the right resourcing solutions - making sure the right people with the right skills are matched to the right projects, in the most efficient way.

The best part is when it all comes together and the team is set up for success, that’s when the impact really shows.

How has Edelman supported your well-being, both professionally and personally? 

During a medical situation in my family, Edelman supported me in a way that went far beyond typical corporate norms. The empathy and flexibility shown during that time allowed me to focus on my family without compromising my professional standards. That experience reaffirmed that Edelman genuinely values the well-being of its people.

It has helped me grow into a more resilient, adaptable, and empathetic professional. What motivates you to do your best work every day? 

Resource management is a challenging role that often operates behind the scenes. But the real motivation comes from knowing that the solutions I provide help our teams meet their objectives. Supporting others' success is what makes the work so fulfilling, knowing I’ve helped teams thrive is incredibly rewarding.
