Chase Burns leads Edelman’s UAE Crisis & Risk practice, where he advises government and multinational organisations in regulated sectors facing complex issues and reputational threats. With more than 17 years of corporate affairs experience in the UK and the Middle East, he specialises in crisis communications and issues management, supporting clients from risk assessments and preparedness to live response and recovery in high-stakes situations.
Since relocating to the UAE in 2019, Chase has advised organisations across aviation, sovereign investment, energy, financial services, and technology sectors. He has supported clients through geopolitical and security-related incidents, executive leadership transitions, cyber breaches and pandemic-related response and recovery programmes.
Chase joined Edelman in 2020, following communications roles with British Airways, Vodafone Group, Golin and Norwegian Air, where he served as a company spokesperson. His experience includes advising on publicly visible issues related to stakeholder activism, operational disruption, onboard incidents, and financial performance-related reputation risk.
Chase holds a first-class Bachelor's degree in International Politics from Brunel University London.
