Edelman has announced the appointment of Christie Bishop as Head of Brand for Southern California.

Bishop, an 18-year veteran of the Los Angeles creative marketing industry joined Edelman to help build on the momentum of the team that has been responsible for award winning work including Taco Bell’s London Big Bell, Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau’s 'Work from Hawaii', Petco’s ‘Turn your back on artificial ingredients’ and Sonos’ ‘Nasdaq bell redesign’.

“Christie’s appointment at Edelman is a clear indication of the opportunity that exists for the firm in the integrated brand marketing space across Southern California,” said Will Collie, general manager of Edelman’s Southern California business. “Her extensive experience will bring a new perspective to our work and be integral to boosting our ability to deliver successful and impactful programming for all of our clients.”

Bishop joins Edelman from Spark44, a joint venture marketing partner to Jaguar Land Rover where she served as executive strategy director and general manager of North America. Bishop is also the well-known host of the Commercial Grade podcast. She will continue to produce the show, which offers an expert behind-the-scenes perspective on the production of creative campaigns.
