Edelman, a leading global communications marketing firm, has appointed Annouchka Behrmann as Head of Brand for Hong Kong, effective immediately. Annouchka will lead the firm’s 20-strong brand marketing team with responsibility for strengthening existing relationships as well as building new ones.

Annouchka’s arrival follows Edelman Hong Kong’s rapid expansion after investing heavily in talent from digital, advertising and media-buying backgrounds to build a truly integrated communications agency.  In her new role, Annouchka will accelerate Edelman’s communications marketing offer to clients, drawing on planning, creative, digital and production expertise to evolve, promote and protect the relationships brands hold with their audiences.  Annouchka reports into Adrian Warr, managing director of Edelman Hong Kong.

Annouchka has over 20 years’ experience leading creative integrated communications programmes. In her previous role, Annouchka was managing director at MHP Communications in London, advising American Express, Unilever, BASF and L’Oréal. Recent campaigns include Shop Small, American Express’s corporate social responsibility initiative, and the disruptive launch of Baby Dove which used artificial intelligence technology to create the image of the ‘Perfect Mum’.  

Prior to MHP, Annouchka worked in both Public Relations consultancies and advertising agencies, including Hill + Knowlton Strategies, DDB and Nelson Bostock. Over the course of her career Annouchka has developed local and global campaigns for blue-chip brands including IHG, Holiday Inn, Kimberly-Clarke, LG, Selfridges, Visa, Burberry, Swatch and Canon.
