Edelman Digital, the world’s first and largest global social agency, today announced that it has hired four top strategy, digital account and creative talents in North Asia. They are Andrew Ryder, North Asia strategy director; Geoff Dossor, Japan digital creative director; Tetsu Fujikawa, Japan creative director; and Masaki Gunnarson, Japan digital social, paid and analytics director.

Ryder joins from Isobar Hong Kong, where he spent the past two years leading the strategy and social team over a period of significant awards and accolades. Ryder brings over 12 years of experience in digital marketing spanning Hong Kong, China, Uganda and Canada for clients such as Estée Lauder, Audi, Marriott Hotels, Uniqlo, Huawei, Van Cleef & Arpels and Samsonite. He is tasked with leading strategy development in North Asia, helping bring consumer insights to life through all channels.

Dossor has spent the past 30 years in Japan’s marketing and digital communications industry, previously serving as CCO of MRM Japan and COO of I&SBBDO Proximity. His portfolio includes leading the digital accounts for Japanese and international clients such as Microsoft, Nestlé, GAP, Johnson & Johnson, BMW, Hyatt, Coach and Peugeot Citroën. Dossor’s remit is to focus on the intersection of digital and creative to bring clients solutions that influence consumer behavior, and improve returns on their investment.

Fujikawa brings over 16 years of creative leadership, branding and digital direction to Edelman Japan, previously working for agencies in Paris, Singapore, Anchorage and Tokyo. He has worked on global accounts for brands including Nissan, Microsoft, Sony, Johnson & Johnson, GAP, MINI and Lamborghini. At Edelman, Fujikawa is tasked with creating innovative digital brand experiences that engage and inspire audiences.

Gunnarson brings over 15 years of experience in the digital business. Most recently serving as managing director for a China-based digital agency, Gunnarson has worked for brands including Mercedes-Benz, Nike, HP, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Hertz, Barclays Bank and Lane Crawford. His remit is to help brands thrive in an increasingly socialized business environment.
