Katrina Allen is an Executive Vice President in Edelman’s Financial Communications & Capital Markets practice in New York.
Katrina specializes in strategic communications, ongoing reputation management and corporate positioning for asset management firms, hedge funds, private equity firms, and public and private companies.
Prior to joining Edelman, Katrina was a Managing Director at strategic communications consulting firm Polisi Jones. For nearly 10 years, Katrina has worked with global companies and investment management firms providing advice on media and investor communications, marketing strategies, messaging, brand building, online branding and social media strategy, media and presentation coaching, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, internal communications, and corporate crises.
Prior to Polisi Jones, Katrina was a Director at ASC Advisors, a leading communications firm focused exclusively on the alternative asset management industry. In addition to her work in strategic communications, Katrina also spent over 10 years as a Senior Writer and Research Editor for several publications focused on the global alternative asset management industry run by Euromoney Institutional Investor.
Katrina graduated with a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1998.
