Jim oversees a global network of corporate reputation, business marketing, and advisory services teams across more than 60 offices. His recent clients have included Bombardier, General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Lockheed Martin, Merck, Mitsubishi, PayPal, Tyco, United Technologies and VMWare, among others.
Jim is an expert in corporate reputation management, analytics-driven business to business marketing, and human centric transformation, having helped company leaders across multiple industries integrate mergers, separate conglomerates and successfully reposition in the market. Recent engagements include:
- Enabling the integration of two separate publicly-traded companies integrate as part of the biggest aerospace deal in history
- Helping a leading university recommit to its values following one of the largest sexual abuse scandals and legal settlements of the #MeToo era
- Advising an industry-leading manufacturer and helping to rebrand and reintroduce a new commercial aircraft to skeptical customers in the wake of repeated manufacturing delays
- Repositioning a Fortune 25 global technology company as part of a multi-year turnaround, restructuring and demerger
In 2018, Jim led the development and launch of Edelman’s Business Transformation line of business. He has also recently launched Edelman’s new Behavioral Science for Business offering in partnership with researchers from Harvard Business School.
Prior to joining Edelman, Jim was a communications leader and spokesman for Honeywell. He was recognized among PR Week’s “40 Under 40” in 2014.
