Elie Azzi is a business leader recognized for transforming communications operations, driving regional growth, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior government officials and executives across the Middle East. 

As CEO of Edelman Saudi Arabia, Elie leads high-impact partnerships with some of the Kingdom’s most prominent institutions and global brands. His leadership is focused on strategic value creation, operational excellence, and delivering communications counsel that aligns with national agendas and business transformation goals. His portfolio spans key entities in culture, technology, urban development, and global corporate sectors. 

He has also supported senior government leaders and global CEOs with media and public speaking preparation for local and international platforms—helping them communicate with clarity, confidence, and strategic intent. 

Prior to Edelman, Elie led the public relations function for Ogilvy in Saudi Arabia, where he managed a diverse portfolio of sovereign and commercial clients. His portfolio included major government entities and companies backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), across sectors such as mobility, defense, tourism, and infrastructure. 

Previously, Elie led public relations across the Levant and Iraq, delivering integrated communications campaigns across more than 15 markets in the Middle East and West Africa. His ability to drive consistent, multi-market impact while navigating complex geopolitical and cultural dynamics is a hallmark of his leadership. 

Earlier in his career, Elie worked with Havas in Dubai, where he managed strategic communications for the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi. He played an instrumental role in international engagement initiatives and led mandates for global organizations in the technology, media, and aerospace sectors. 

Elie holds a Master’s in Global Business Administration and a BA in Political Science with a minor in International Affairs and Diplomacy. His academic background complements his professional trajectory—equipping him with the analytical depth and cross-cultural understanding to operate at the highest levels of both government and business.
