Jon has more than fifteen years of UK government affairs experience, advising clients on how to navigate political and regulatory risk across the energy, technology and infrastructure sectors. Jon leads Edelman’s work for one of the world’s largest renewable-energy generators and for a multinational aerospace company.
His experience spans multiple infrastructure areas, including nuclear power, telecoms and utilities. He has produced thought-leadership on infrastructure policy and is an experienced sustainability report writer, having drafted reports for FTSE 100 companies. In addition to advising corporate clients, Jon has also worked for five different local authorities.
Prior to joining Edelman, Jon worked in Parliament in the Liberal Democrat Leader’s Office under Charles Kennedy, focusing on party liaison, and subsequently for Michael Moore MP in his role as the party’s Defence and Foreign Affairs Spokesman. During the 2005 general election, he served on the Leader’s Tour Advance Team, managing campaign visits around the UK.
