While healthcare systems globally are grappling with declining confidence, misinformation and growing competition for influence, the UAE presents a different picture.

The 2026 Edelman Trust Barometer Special Report: Trust and Health reveals a healthcare landscape where trust remains exceptionally strong, even as AI becomes increasingly embedded in everyday health decision-making.

UAE respondents report high levels of confidence in finding answers about health questions and making informed decisions, strong trust in doctors and health authorities, and some of the highest rates of AI adoption among surveyed markets.

Together, these findings point to a healthcare ecosystem where innovation and trust are not competing forces, but are advancing together to support more informed and empowered consumers.
