Collaboration Will Help Meet Marketplace Demand for Employee and Influencer Advocacy Offerings

Edelman announced today that it has made a strategic financial investment in Dynamic Signal, the leading employee advocacy and engagement platform. The partnership will bolster Edelman’s already diverse employee and influencer engagement offerings and further expand the global communications marketing agency’s reach into the ever-growing, digital employee and influencer advocacy market.

“Clients are asking for our help on how to more effectively engage their employees and customers, and through our partnership with Dynamic Signal, we’ll be able to help them do just that by empowering and activating their most influential brand advocates,” said Gail Becker, president, Strategic Partnerships and Global Integration, Edelman. “Helping brands tell their unique stories in ways that resonate and make an impact is at the crux of everything we do at Edelman, and in an increasingly global and social world, the process of content sharing has become more complex than ever before.”

With a team that has 20 years of digital marketing expertise, Dynamic Signal helps Fortune 500 brands keep their employees and customers informed of important company news and updates. Available in 14 languages, the platform takes this engagement a step further, developing custom branded social CRM-based platforms and influencer communities that allow employees and brand advocates to share content and information across all of their social channels. Additionally, Dynamic Signal provides tools to track and measure the earned media, marketing and commerce value that result from these social sharing efforts.

“We’ve built our business to help companies celebrate and empower employees, which positively impacts everything from a company’s culture to sales,” said Russ Fradin, co-founder and CEO, Dynamic Signal. “Edelman recognizes the opportunity to not only build out its client offerings in employee engagement further, but also to invest in this fast growing industry and we’re excited to be their partner on this effort.”

The 2016 Edelman Trust Barometer – the firm’s annual trust and credibility survey – revealed that employees are essential advocates for companies, amplifying the ability to reach stakeholders through the multiple platforms where they are getting their news – via search and social.

Edelman’s global Employee Engagement team partners with some of the world’s leading brands and organizations to plan, execute and measure best-in-class programs that strengthen the three core connections that all employees must have to succeed: connections with their company, with their peers and with the world outside of the company. Beginning in 2015, Dynamic Signal started working with Edelman to help a suite of its clients manage their influencer and employee advocacy programs. Dynamic Signal also works with Edelman’s sister agency Zeno Group, which is a part of the Daniel J. Edelman family of companies.

“Brands recognize that listening to and investing in their employees is good for business,” said Christopher Hannegan, executive vice president, Employee Engagement, Edelman. “By combining Edelman’s global client relationships with Dynamic Signal’s easy-to-use technology platform, we can arm brands with the strategy and the tools necessary to activate employees and influencers in a way that’s authentic, measurable and achieves their business goals.”
