Edelman and United Entertainment Group (UEG) have announced the launch of Starview, a first-of-its-kind collaboration of DJE companies, focused on global influencer and brand partnerships that are authentic, measureable and built for long-term engagement. This talent agnostic offering combines the experience and expertise of a traditional MCN with the power of communications marketing to deliver custom video influencer programs that drive business objectives and brand engagement.

“Early influencer programs were built based on advertising sponsorship models. Starview is built on the principles of earned storytelling, lasting relationships, and the rigor of data to deliver against our clients’ business objectives.” said Jess Clifton, US Managing Director, Strategic Growth and Development, Edelman. “We offer a talent agnostic approach to provide our clients with fully integrated and repeatable programs driven by partnership, creative, paid and analytics.”

Starview was created to help Edelman and UEG clients stay at the forefront of the evolving media landscape. With the rise of video on social media platforms, the exponential growth of the influencer talent pool, and influencers’ impact on consumer purchasing decisions, this evolving space requires the right expertise for maximum benefit. The new offering will complement existing work across PR, social, entertainment, sports, lifestyle, and creative and will be leveraged across the Edelman global network.

“We have seen explosive talent growth in the video influencer space. Therefore, partnering our clients with the right influencers is more important than ever to ensure we deliver deep and meaningful programs. We are excited to bring our combined expertise to clients, with the same level of excellence and reliability that they have come to expect from both organizations,” said Adam Smith, President of Entertainment, United Entertainment Group.

Edelman and UEG have worked in partnership with several clients on video influencer programs including Petco, Disney Parks and Western Digital Corporation.  Most recently they partnered with Barilla to create “While the Water Boils,” a new web series hosted by YouTube sensation Hannah Hart, in which well-loved cultural icons dish about life, pasta and the pursuit of passion. Starview will have dedicated teams from both Edelman and UEG in key offices across the US, APAC and Europe.
