Research arm to enhance insights and analytics in the region to evolve, promote and protect brands

Edelman today announced that its specialist research arm Edelman Berland has hired Catriona Muspratt-Williams as head of Singapore and Andrew Chapman as head of Australia. Edelman Berland provides clients with strategic intelligence that focuses their communications and engagements with stakeholders by offering a full range of qualitative and quantitative market research services, from media monitoring to drawing insights from online communities. The two new roles are effective immediately.

Prior to joining Edelman Berland, Muspratt-Williams was with Mediacom for a total of nine years, most recently as head of Insights Asia Pacific. While at Mediacom, Muspratt-Williams designed research solutions for regional clients that spanned both qualitative and quantitative methodologies using both online and traditional approaches, resulting in consistent growth in insight-related projects and revenues. Muspratt-Williams has also served as an account director at Jigsaw Strategic Research Australia and head of consumer insight at mediaedge:cia (MEC) for a total of eight years.

Chapman brings over 13 years of experience to Edelman Berland spanning research, brand, communications and strategic consulting. He has worked in Australia, North America and Asia, with a global client list across a diverse range of industries. Chapman has experience leading the international expansion of a marketing research and consulting agency, and recently played a key role in launching a world-first, international award-winning brand, reputation and communications research methodology. He has a PhD in neuroscience.
