Stacy Turnof

Stacy Turnof advises the senior management and boards of public companies on strategic communications including investor relations, financial and corporate public relations, transaction communications, crisis communications and leadership positioning. Stacy is a member of the Edelman’s Investor Relations practice in New York and helps to advise clients globally on IR issues.  

Stacy joined Edelman at the start of 2019.  Currently, she provides ongoing investor relations support for support for Hudson Group (NYSE:  HUD), At Home Group (NYSE: HOME), and Lumber Liquidators (NYSE:  LL) as well as strategic counsel on corporate issues for Nordstrom (NYSE:  JWN) and Craft Brew Alliance (NASDAQ:  BREW).  Stacy has provided analyst day and general strategic counsel for Pitney Bowes (NYSE:  PBI) as well as investor relations project work for Conduent (NASDAQ:  CNDT).  Stacy also helped advise Argo Group (NYSE: ARGO) with activism and investor relations support.   

Stacy has a wealth of knowledge from Wall Street as a sell-side analyst and buy-side analyst coupled with investor relations expertise. Prior to joining Edelman, Stacy was an SVP in the Equities division of Forum at Third Bridge, a financial expert network platform.  In 2016, she was Head of Investor Relations at Ascena Retail Group (parent company of Ann Taylor, LOFT, Justice, Lane Bryant, Catherines, dressbarn, and maurices). From 2007 to 2016, Stacy worked at BlackRock in the Fundamental Equity division of BlackRock's Alpha Strategies Group. She was a VP and senior research analyst for BlackRock's Global Small Cap, Small Cap Value, and Midcap Value teams covering the consumer discretionary and staples sector.  Before joining BlackRock in 2007, Stacy spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch. She was a senior director and senior retail analyst where she was responsible for equity research on department stores and dollar stores. Previously, she was an associate at Citigroup in the global corporate banking department. From 1995 to 1997 Ms. Turnof was at Chase Manhattan Bank as a financial analyst in global corporate finance. She began her career in 1994 at Kidder Peabody & Co. as a financial analyst in the investment banking department. 

Ms. Turnof earned a BA degree in Economics from Columbia College, Columbia University, in 1994, and an MBA in Finance both from Columbia Business School in 1998.
